Tivoli – CGI feature (in development)

Through a magical ride in Tivoli gardens, 10-year-old Georg is transported back in time to the year 1843, just before the amusement park first opened its doors. In the course of his struggle to return to his own time, Georg is involuntarily embroiled in a conflict about the park’s very existence. In addition, he must save a group of street kids from a gang of child-abusing criminals before he is finally able to put the past behind him.

Tivoli takes the entire family on an exciting adventure back in time, experiencing 19th-century Copenhagen's Golden Age, when it was home to celebrities such as Hans Christian Andersen and Søren Kierkegaard. On our journey, we meet representatives of all the city's social classes - from a gang of street kids, led by the movie's female main character, the street-wise Emilie, through High Society members like Tivoli’s founder, Georg Carstensen, and all the way to the king of Denmark - offering a visual and emotional ride through a broad spectrum of ambiences from the dark and somber to the lavishly colorful and exuberant.
